THERE have been a slew of good books about racing out recently (though none as good as Rock of Gibraltar, by a brilliant author and still available from Amazon and all good booksellers) and I am pleased to select three for your delectation.
Regular readers may recall that I have often tried to explain racing's unique jargon in this column. I have often wondered if a racing dictionary might be publishable, but not for the first time, somebody has beaten me to it.
