SETANTA Sport will spend GBP 1m on a television, radio and newspaper advertising blitz to meet its target of signing up 100,000 subscribers for live Bank of Scotland Premierleague football next season.

The Dublin pay-per-view satellite broadcaster - which has signed a GBP 35m four-year deal to broadcast 38 SPL matches each season - began advertising its SPL Live service in newspapers yesterday.
