A MUSLIM leader who has been linked to an outlawed extremist group blamed for terror attacks in Pakistan is running a mosque in an upmarket suburb of Edinburgh.

Mullah Abdul Hamid, a Sunni Muslim, founded the Islamic Studies Centre in the Polwarth area of the city and was the UK representative of Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan, also known as the Guardians of the Companions of the Prophet.
