ST JOHNSTONE left Ibrox with no points but a simmering sense of injustice. The Perth side had wanted Kenny Miller's winning goal chalked off, claiming the Scotland striker had bundled defender Alan Maybury off the ball in the build-up.

"We felt it was a barge on the back on Alan Maybury for their [winning] goal," said St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes. "We are disappointed with that because, yes, Kenny Miller's movement is good but Alan was aware of it and sees him as he is about to play it and there is a definite barge on the back."
