I've been to a crab shack and this ain't no crab shack," said a bemused Fiona as we sat down. "The last time I went to a crab shack, it was in Chesapeake Bay. We were handed paper bibs and hammers as we walked in and after we'd smashed our way through the shells and eaten all the crab meat, we'd chuck the shards over our shoulders on to the floor. By the end of the evening the place would be ankle deep in the shells, thousands of them."
