Percentages point to Celtic's historic reign over six fine season NEIL Lennon stated on national TV in April that his club had not been afforded adequate recognition for their cumulative effort over the six seasons from the arrival of Martin O'Neill.

Celtic's league results in terms of percentage of points won during the period are superior to those of any other six-season period in the club's history - 578 from 684, which equals 84.5 per cent. At two points per win, the figure is 86.4 per cent. Indeed, these percentage figures have never been eclipsed by any club over any six-season period in the 109 seasons of Scottish league top- division competition.
