CALMAC has forced one of its most senior executives to repay GBP 13,000 of taxpayers' money after an investigation into his expenses.
The state-owned ferry giant ordered human resources director Alan Moffat, 54, to return the money, including nearly GBP 5,000 for takeaway food, after giving him a final written warning. The group yesterday said it was standing by Moffat, who lives in Bearsden, but internal papers seen by Scotland on Sunday show serious concerns in CalMac over his spending.See the full content of this document
